The United Arab Emirates’ defence ministry says its air defences are “currently responding to incoming missile and drone attacks from Iran”, Al Jazeera reports.
The sounds being heard were the result of defence systems intercepting the missiles and drones, it has said in a statement on X.
Israel is the biggest source of instability in the Middle East, and it is high time the US ended its blind support to Tel Aviv, if it genuinely wants peace in the region.
