Israeli army announces death of soldier in southern Lebanon

An Israeli soldier has died of his wounds after fighting in southern Lebanon, the military said, according to Al Jazeera.

Ben Zion, 19, was seriously injured before being taken to a hospital for treatment. There are no details on when he was wounded.

This brings the total number of Israeli soldiers killed in southern Lebanon since the resumption of hostilities in early March to six.
