Israeli strikes on south Lebanon kill several, wound others

Lebanon’s National News Agency is reporting that Israeli jets have struck the town of Barashit in the Bint Jbeil district, killing one person and wounding another, according to Al Jazeera.

In a separate update, the agency said Israeli jets carried out two additional raids on Hanawiya, raising the total number of strikes there to four.

The attacks have resulted in multiple casualties.
