Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq has underscored the importance of “dialogue and sustained diplomatic efforts” in a telephonic conversation with his Turkish counterpart, the Foreign Office (FO) says.
In a statement, the FO has said Dar spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and discussed “the latest regional and international situation”.
“The two leaders exchanged views on recent developments and underscored the importance of dialogue and sustained diplomatic efforts to promote peace and stability,” it has said, adding that the two top diplomats “agreed to remain closely engaged in this regard”.
