Iran’s foreign minister says the current conflict is “neither an Iranian war nor an American war”, arguing that Israel has pushed the US into it, Al Jazeera reports.
“America’s priority is Israel’s security, and American bases in the region have been established to protect Tel Aviv; Washington is willing to sacrifice everything for Israel’s security,” Iran’s Tasnim news agency has quoted Abbas Araghchi as saying.
He also asserted that Israel is pursuing a “Greater Israel” project that he said envisions control over territory belonging to some countries in the region.
