Asked about reports of Israel participating in possible talks between the US and Iran, Israel’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Danny Danon, has replied in the negative.

“I’m not familiar with our participation in such talks,” he said, adding that Tel Aviv will continue operations against Iran with the US.

“We know that at the end of any operation or conflict, you have to go to diplomacy. We will make sure that the outcome will be that Iran will not have the nuclear capability, will not have the ballistic missile capability, and we will achieve the goals we put forward only a month ago,” he added.

Asked about whether Israel or the US have met those goals, Danon replied that Tel Aviv has “accomplished a lot”.
