The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has backtracked on its decision to raise jet fuel prices, Daily Star reports.
At an emergency meeting held earlier today, BERC had decided to increase jet fuel prices by around 73 per cent at one go. It said the new prices would come into effect from midnight.
However, it later issued another notification, stating that the implementation of the revised jet fuel price has been suspended.
