The Kremlin says that it is monitoring what it described as contradictory statements regarding the situation in Iran, but hopes the conflict will be resolved quickly, the state TASS news agency reported, according to Reuters.
“There have been many different statements today, including some contradictory ones. We continue to monitor the situation closely and hope that it will soon return to a peaceful course,” TASS cited Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying.
