PM Shehbaz Sharif has said he spoke with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to “convey warm Eidul Fitr greetings to him and the people of Bahrain”.

“I reiterated Pakistan’s strong condemnation of the ongoing hostilities in the region, particularly the attacks against Bahrain, and extended my deepest condolences on the loss of lives and those injured,” the premier said on X.

“I also shared our continued diplomatic outreach for peace and stressed the importance of dialogue and de-escalation,” he added.
