The US has seized four website domains it claimed were tied to an Iran-based hacking operation, in what officials describe as part of a broader crackdown on cyber activity linked to Tehran, according to Al Jazeera.
The US Department of Justice said the move formed part of “an ongoing effort to disrupt hacking and transnational repression schemes conducted by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security”.
