Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said he spoke to Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to “express Pakistan’s strong solidarity” with the country.
In a post on X, he said, “We strongly condemn the serious regional escalation from the Israeli attack on Iran earlier today that was followed by the regrettable attacks against Qatar as well as in other Gulf countries.”
He further stated: “I reaffirmed Pakistan’s full solidarity with the brotherly state of Qatar. Pakistan will continue to support all efforts for peace and stability in the region.”
