Special days have their own meanings for everyone. Sending a card or wishes makes the days memorable and makes others feel special.

To add a little extra to such days, try a small giveaway — like a paper pouch with sweets or tiny goodies. Everyone loves a fun surprise!

So today, we’re making a small giveaway paper pouch or packet, where you can put sweets or little items like jewellery, and surprise others with your creative little fun packaging.

Let’s get started!

  1. Cut a piece of coloured paper 6 inches long and 3 inches wide; see picture 2.

  2. Fold 1 centimetre inward from both sides, as shown in picture 3.

  3. Apply double-sided tape to both folded sides; picture 4.

  4. Remove the tape backing and fold the paper onto itself, as shown in pictures 5 and 6. Press the sides so they stick together, but leave one side open; you’ll insert your goodies from here before sealing it.

  5. Notice the open side where the goodies will go; pictures 7 and 8.

  6. Once you’ve added your goodies, press the top tightly together and decorate the way you want; picture 9.
