ISLAMABAD: Some passersby found the body of a lawyer who was reportedly murdered at a deserted area in H-9 in Islamabad.

After getting the information the police reached the spot and shifted the body to a hospital for pending identification and legal process.

A bullet wound was found at the backside of the body, the police said, adding that it seems that he was murdered last night.

Later, the area was searched and police found some documents and a mobile which led to his identification. The victim was identified as Shaikh Abdul Rauf, a lawyer by profession.

The body was shifted to mortuary for autopsy. It seems that he was murdered late on Monday night or early Tuesday.
