Rescue 1122 rescued a man stranded in a tree by floodwater near Chichawatni in Punjab, according to a statement.

The rescue service received a report that Muhammad Irshad, while attempting to rescue an animal from floodwater, climbed a tree and was stranded there for three hours to avoid the rushing water.

“The rescue team reached the scene and safely removed Muhammad Irshad from the tree, moving him to a dry and safe location.
