“You must get yourself used to living with nature”, Sharjeel Inam has said, stressing that illegal construction should not be carried out on riverbeds.
“Whenever the area is dry, people needlessly go there […] Even in Punjab, the actual course of the water has changed not just today but over the decades,” he said.
“This challenge is climate change, for which everyone will need to bring behavioural changes,” Inam emphasised.
