The Punjab PDMA director general warns that high water flow will continue, as the ninth monsoon spell has started.
“The ninth monsoon spell has started and rain will continue to fall until September 2,” said Irfan Ali Kathia. “In the upper catchments of the Ravi and Sutlej, it is raining again but their dams have reached maximum capacity. For the next weeks, their flows will continue running like this.”
