Many parts of Punjab are set to receive rain today, particularly the northeastern belt of the province, says PDMA Director General Irfan Ali Kathia.
While speaking to the media, Kathia said, “There is heavy to very heavy rainfall expected in Gujarat, Gujranwala, Lahore,” warning that urban flooding is likely to happen.
Downpour is also expected in the hill torrents of Koh-i-Sulaiman, he added.
District administrations have been directed to make arrangements accordingly, he said.
