Punjab PDMA Director General Irfan Ali Kathia has said that water is rising in Ravi and is likely to keep rising for the next six hours.
“The next 24 hours are important for Kasur, Lahore and Sahiwal,” Kathia said, according to a PDMA statement.
“All departments are currently active. There were some problems in housing societies, which have since been evacuated,” he added. “Three to four feet of water came into some housing societies.”
