In the past 24 hours till 9am this morning, Sialkot witnessed the highest amount of rainfall in the last 49 years, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said.
During the 24-hour period, the city recorded 363.5 millimetres of rain, surpassing 339.7mm it received on Aug 6, 1976.
