The United Nations’ expert on Palestinian affairs, Francesca Albanese, has shown solidarity with Italian Coaches’ Association’s formal letter calling for Israel’s suspension from international competitions.
“This is the Italy I belong too, respect and love: the one that chooses with its conscience and values, not with its fat wallet and ideologised brain,” Albanese posted on X, quoting a post by Football Italia. “In the name of the rule-of-law and humanity, all the way,” she added.
