For the first time, Israeli soldiers have used silenced weapons to shoot at starving Palestinians seeking aid in Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.
Anas al-Sharif, the Al Jazeera correspondent in northern Gaza, reported that he spoke to multiple witnesses who confirmed the use of silencers in the Sudanese area near Beit Lahiya, deployed by the Israeli army when targeting people around an aid site.
He said this means the Israeli soldiers were trying to inflict casualties without drawing too much attention to themselves.
