Trump warns Canada’s recognition of State of Palestine can make trade deal with US ‘very hard’

US President Donald Trump has warned that Canada’s decision to recognise the State of Palestine could impact its ongoing trade deal with the US.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump said, “Wow! Canada has just announced that it is backing statehood for Palestine. That will make it very hard for us to make a Trade Deal with them. Oh’ Canada!!!”
