Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has insisted that Israel has “no policy of starvation in Gaza and there is no starvation in Gaza”, according to AFP.

He made the statement during an event in Jerusalem after the military announced it started humanitarian pauses in some areas of the Palestinian territory to enable aid distribution.

Netanyahu also said they just announced formally that there are “safe corridors” to distribute aid.
