Baby dies of malnutrition in northern Gaza

An infant named Muhammad Ibrahim Adas has died due to malnutrition and a shortage of baby formula, a source at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City has told Al Jazeera Arabic.

According to the World Health Organisation, Gaza City has been the area “worst-hit” by malnutrition in the Gaza Strip, with nearly one in five children under five there now acutely malnourished.
