The Israeli military’s Arabic language spokesperson has taken to X to again threaten neighbourhoods of Gaza City, specifically blocks 783 and 784, Al Jazeera reports.

Blaming Hamas attacks in the area, the spokesperson says that the army will soon attack the area with “extreme force”, ordering residents to flee for their lives.

Al Jazeera’s analysis found that, through similar threats, Israel has pushed the population of Gaza into a 74.4 square kilometres area of the Gaza Strip, representing about 20 per cent of the enclave.
