The Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs has warned of a dangerous escalation in Israel’s ongoing policy of denying legal access to Palestinian prisoners, Wafa reports.

The commission held the occupation authorities fully responsible for the lack of transparency surrounding human rights violations inside Israeli custody.

It further revealed that over the past 10 days, approximately 500 detainees, including women, have been denied visits by their legal representatives, describing it as a grave act of isolation and repression.

The commission called on the international community to intervene immediately and pressure Israel to comply with international law.
