Israeli drone strike kills 5 Palestinians in southern Gaza

Five Palestinians, including two girls, have been killed in an Israeli drone attack on tents in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, Al Jazeera Arabic reports, citing a source at Nasser Medical Complex.

Israel had previously designated al-Mawasi a “safe zone”, forcing displaced Palestinians to move there en masse. However, it now regularly attacks the area.
