PESHAWAR: Peshawar Electric Supply Company has said that it will ensure uninterrupted power supply throughout the province during Eidul Azha for the convenience of consumers.

A statement issued here said that Chairman Pesco Board of Directors Himayatullah Khan has assured the consumers that arrangements have been made to ensure smooth and uninterrupted supply of electricity across Pesco region.

Pesco chief executive officer Akhtar Hamid Khan said that a control room has also been set up at Pesco head office to deal with any emergency situation. He said the control room supervised by chief engineers will monitor smooth flow of electricity.

As per details, there will be no load management on Eid day from 7am to 9pm, ensuring that citizens can celebrate the holy occasion without disruption. Additionally, in the evening before Eid, the consumers will receive two hours of relief from load management between 6pm and 12 midnight, facilitating smooth preparations for the festive day.

Besides, all operations officers of Pesco, including executive engineers and sub-divisional officers will be on high alert during Eid days to provide best services.

Moreover, necessary repair work on electrical installations had also been completed and all safety measures were being ensured, the statement said.
