Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met US Acting Ambassador Natalie Baker today and expressed concerns over India’s recent actions in Pakistan, stressing that the neighbour had put peace in South Asia at risk.
“India has violated international law by targeting civilians,” he said, adding that Pakistan’s response came out of self-defence. “Pakistan exercised extreme restraint. But we will not allow any threat to our security.”
Naqvi further stated that Islamabad had already informed friendly countries about India’s “dangerous intentions”.
