LAKKI MARWAT: Militants blew up the building of an abandoned police post with explosives in the Wazir subdivision of Bannu district on Saturday.
A police official confirmed the incident and said that the post was located in Barganto area in the limits of Ahmadzai police station.
He said that the post had been abandoned by the police over three months ago.
“The terrorists planted an improvised explosive device inside the building, which exploded with a bang, partially damaging rooms and other infrastructure,” the official said.
He said that the police had launched an investigation into the terror incident.
