DERA GHAZI KHAN: Two people were shot dead when unidentified people opened fire on a passenger bus near Dera Chungi in Jampur on Saturday, in what appears to be a case of targeted killing.

The victims, identified as Karim Bakhsh and Shahid Iqbal of the Malana community, were attacked in the jurisdiction of Jampur City police. The gunmen fled the scene after the shooting.

Upon receiving the report, a police team, led by the DSP of Jampur and the SHO of City police station, shifted the bodies to the hospital for post-mortem examinations.
