Dawn staffer grieved

LAHORE: Sheikh Manzoor Ahmed, father of Dawn staffer and senior journalist Mustfeez Manzoor, passed away after a protracted illness here on Tuesday. He was 80.

He was suffering from kidney disease and was getting its treatment.

The deceased was a retired banker and a businessman.

His funeral prayers will be held at 11am on Wednesday (today) at 322-G, Madina Park, near Wasa Mor, Gulshan-i-Ravi.

The burial will be held at 2pm after Zuhr prayers at Darbar Sharaqpur Sharif.
