LAHORE: A 17-year-old girl died in an accidental shooting at her home in the Sundar area on Friday.

According to initial inquiries, Nimra was reportedly cleaning a pistol in her home in Rangilpura village when the firearm accidentally discharged.

The family told police that the pistol had been kept in a cupboard.

Upon hearing the gunshot, they rushed to the room and found Nimra in a pool of blood.

She succumbed to her injuries immediately, according to the family’s account.

Police and forensic experts questioned the family and took the body for a postmortem to confirm the exact cause of death.
