QUETTA: The election tribunal, headed by Justice Muhammad Aamir Rana of Balochistan High Court, has ordered a recount of votes in NA-260 (Chagai-Rakhshan).

The tribunal issued the order after hearing a petition filed by PML-N’s Sardar Fatih Muhammad Hasani, who challenged Usman Badini’s election from the constituency.

The tribunal heard arguments from both sides and instructed the Election Commission of Pakistan to conduct the recount within two weeks.
