PESHAWAR: Authorities have postponed the Shandur polo festival due to inclement weather conditions in Upper Chitral district.

According to a notification issued by the secretary culture, tourism and archaeology department on Monday, the Shandur polo festival, scheduled from June 28 to June 30, has been postponed due to inclement weather conditions.

Every year, the polo festival is held from July 7 to July 9 at the highest polo ground of the world. However, this year the festival was scheduled from June 28 to June 30.
