The body of a French-Mexican man who died during Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel arrived in Mexico City on Friday, authorities have said, AFP reports.

The remains of Orion Hernandez Radoux “were received at the airport… by personnel from the foreign ministry,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The Israeli army said last week that troops recovered his body in the northern Gaza Strip, along with those of two other men, including a Brazilian-Israeli. Hernandez Radoux was born in the central Mexican state of Morelos but had dual nationality as his mother is French.

On October 7, he was at the Nova electronic music festival in southern Israel, a few kilometers from Gaza, with his girlfriend, whose death was confirmed by Israeli authorities at the end of October.

According to the Israeli army, Hernandez Radoux died during the October 7 attack and his body was taken to Gaza.
