KHYBER: At least 10 best teams of Khyber tribal district will participate in Afridyan Super League (ASL) cricket tournament, according to organisers.

Unveiling the trophy for its 4th edition at Bara Press Club on Wednesday, ASL chief organiser Nabeel Afridi said that the tournament would commence in the second week of May at Takiya cricket ground in Bar Qambarkhel locality of Bara.

Mr Afridi said that winner of the tournament would be given a cash prize of Rs500,000 while runner up team along with best performing players would also be given prizes and shields.

He said that ASL was aimed at providing an opportunity to talented players of Khyber district and then introducing them at national and international level.
