TOBA TEK SINGH: Christian families affected by last year riots were given household items like utensils, beds, clothes, school bags and stationery for their children.
Faisalabad Bishop Andreas Rehmat on behalf of “Church in Need” – a Catholic organisation in Germany – also distributed 15 rickshaws and 13 motorcycles among the needy to make them independent financially.
The bishop said that since “the day one of the tragedy, we have been trying to fulfill basic needs of the affected people”.
