RAWALPINDI: The annual Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-I exams, under the Board of Intermediateand Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi, are set to begin on May 7.
According to the board’s spokesman, Arslan Cheema, Section 144 had been imposed in and around the examination centres as BISE Rawalpindi Chairman Mohammad Adnan Khan had adopted zero tolerance towards cheating cases. Therefore, foolproof arrangements had been made for the exams.
Mr Khan said roll number slips of regular students had been dispatched tothe relevant institutions while those of private students were uploaded on the board’s website and also sent to the addresses mentioned in their admission forms.
He said the datesheet, lists of examiners, examination centres and other officials had been sent toall deputy commissioners of the division, district police officers and the Special Branch, adding that 195 examination centres were set up in the division.
The board chairman also visited various examination centres in connection with the intermediate (Grade 12) annual examination and reviewed the attendance of the examination staff, seating plan of candidates as well as security arrangements.
