Gaza health ministry says death toll since Oct 7 at 32,782

The health ministry in Gaza has said that at least 32,782 people have been killed in the territory during more than five months of fighting between Israel and Palestinian groups, AFP reports.

The toll includes at least 77 deaths over the past 24 hours, a ministry statement has said, adding that 75,298 people have been wounded in the Gaza Strip since the fighting began on October 7.
