BAJAUR: A youth was killed after he was stuck on a snow-covered mountain along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Mamond tehsil here, the police said on Sunday.

They said that Ahmad Khan, a resident of Kitkot area of Mamond region, was killed after he was stuck in heavy snow while attempting to cross the border and enter the Afghanistan side.

In a statement issued here, the police said that the body of the 24-year-old was found near the Kitkot mountain along the border, and was later handed over to his family for burial on Sunday afternoon.
