KARACHI: City’s weather would remain sunny, dry and windy on Tuesday under the influence of a westerly wave prevailing over Balochistan, the Met Office said.

On Monday, the maximum wind speed recorded was 14 knots, or around 26 kilometres, from the southwest direction.

The city’s temperature surged to 32 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. It is expected to remain the same on Wednesday (today)

“A westerly wave is prevailing over Balochistan and adjoining Sindh. Under its influence, rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected in Jamshoro, Dadu, Larkana, Qambar-Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Sukkur, Ghotki, Naushahro Feroze and Shaheed Benazirabad districts tomorrow,” said a Met department advisory.

Occasionally windy weather is likely in the rest of the province, it added.
