China President Xi congratulates Zardari on election as president

Chinese President Xi Jinping has sent congratulations to Asif Ali Zardari on his election as Pakistan’s president, state media reports.

The PPP chairman won the presidential elections with over 400 votes against Mahmood Khan Achakzai and will be taking oath of the office today.
