Israel’s embassy in the US has been told not to facilitate war cabinet minister Benny Gantz’s trip to the country, following the reports that it was organised without the knowledge of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, according to state media, Al Jazeera reports.

Public broadcaster Kan said that the embassy was told by the government not take part in the planned visit.

Netanyahu was reportedly angered by Gantz’s intention to travel to the US to hold talks with US officials without his consent.
