LAHORE: PML-N nominee for Punjab chief minister’s office, Ms Maryam Nawaz, was reportedly given a briefing at her residence by Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman on the province’s administrative matters.

According to sources, Mr Zaman visited Ms Nawaz at her Jati Umra residence and gave her a detailed briefing on the province’s administrative, financial and developmental affairs, besides the law and order matters.

When contacted to confirm the report about the meeting, the chief secretary opted to stay silent.
