A British charity says its health centre for children with disabilities in the occupied West Bank was badly damaged by Israeli forces in a major raid earlier this month, Al Jazeera reports.
ABCD (Action Around Bethlehem Children with Disability) is located in the Nur Shams refugee camp, south of Jenin. According to the centre, soldiers ransacked the building, destroyed equipment and stole food, children’s winter clothing and ink from the printer.
“As a UK charity with 35 years’ experience working in Palestine, we urge the UK government to request the Israeli government to stop all such raids in the West Bank, and to ask for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza,” ABCD said in a statement.
