Another vehicle blown up in southern Lebanon air strike

A car has been hit by an apparent Israeli drone strike in Southern Lebanon, Al Jazeera reports.

“We’re getting reports of as many as three people killed in that vehicle,” journalist Zeina Khodr said.

“The strike happened in the village of Ghandouriyeh, which is about 10km (6.2 miles) outside of the battlefield in the border conflict. A Hezbollah commander was killed in a similar attack on Monday. His funeral will take place in the next few hours.

“Hezbollah is in a difficult position because nothing seems to be stopping the Israeli military. It has been trying to avoid some sort of retaliation that could drag Lebanon into war because it knows it will bring destruction to the whole country,” Khodr added.

Israel has warned it would turn Beirut into another Gaza.
