KOHAT: The police on Sunday arrested a man for assaulting two seminary students when they were collecting food from houses in Shakardara area here.

SHO Zafar Ali said fathers of the boys, 14 and 12 years old, told the police that Faiz Ahmed had assaulted their sons.

He said the victims and the accused were taken to the KDA Teaching Hospital for medical tests, which confirmed they were assaulted by the man.

He said an FIR had been registered against the man under section 53 of KP Child Protection and Welfare Act, and 377 of Pakistan Penal Code.
