Scottish leader says Israeli ministers’ remarks about resettlements equal to ‘ethnic cleansing’

Scotland’s first minister, Humza Yousaf, has condemned statements echoed by senior ministers in the Israeli government calling for the “resettlement of the population of Gaza, and for Israeli settlements to be established in Gaza”.

He added that such statements need to be called out as they are the “textbook definition of ethnic cleansing”.
