Four Palestinians were killed and an Israeli soldier injured during a raid in the town of Azzun in the north of the occupied West Bank, according to the Israeli military, Al Jazeera reports.

In a post on X, the Israeli military said four Palestinians, who had attacked them with explosives and barricaded themselves in a house, were killed. It also posted a photo of three Carlo submachine guns they claimed the men were carrying.

Israeli forces continued the overnight raids across several areas of the occupied West Bank.

Fighting was reported in Qalqilya, where footage showed a wounded Palestinian man lying on the floor being kicked in the head by Israeli soldiers.
